Ironsky Interactive

Blog / Portfolio

I never ask a man his business, for it never interests me. What I ask him about are his thoughts and dreams.

IronSky Interactive was created as a place to collect my writings, showcase my portfolio and navigate through the jungle that is too many unfinished side projects. I write on topics like software engineering, the challenges of being a husband and raising a son, game development and what life is like for a South African living in Ireland.
I hope you find something useful, or at least interesting, in these pages.

What one thinks, finds expression in words...

Algernon Blackwood
Writings about my journey as a husband and father, software engineering and life in Ireland. There may be other topics and tutorials, some tech related, some not.
There will always be a place for quest writers and co-contributors; please get in touch.

That which is imagined, can never be lost.

Clive Barker
A collection of drawings and sketches. One of my long-time hobbies, that really deserves more of my time... Mostly fantasy art, some upcoming character and environment designs for game development projects.
I am most comfortable with pencil on paper, sometimes ink. Currently exploring some digital art.

It should be the experience, that is touching.

Shigeru Miyamoto
Development time lines and work-in-progress details on game development projects. Some will remain unfinished, some will be no more than experiments with specific technologies, and hopefully there will be a finished game in there somewhere.
Mostly using Unreal Engine, but getting started in Unity to open up the possibility for collaboration.
